Bikes Not Bombs Mission

Your purchase will support Bikes Not Bombs (BNB), a nonprofit organization based out of Boston, MA. We reclaim thousands of bikes each year to create youth and international programs that provide skill development, jobs, and sustainable transportation. BNB also hosts free live clinics for the cycling community in Boston.

Examples of our current programs include, but are not limited to: Bike School (bike education and training programs where participants can learn how to fix bikes and earn a free bike of their own), Bicyclists Organizing for Community Action (creating youth leaders who organize and create community change through cycling), and Bici-Tec (bicycle-powered machines in Guatemala to improve the productivity and efficiency of rural livelihoods).

Bikes Not Bombs uses the bicycle as a vehicle for social change to achieve economic mobility for Black and other marginalized people in Boston and the Global South.
