The Grand Prix 4-Season features a 330TPI double layer Vectran belt under the tread. This proprietary fabric is a liquid-crystalline polymer that is exceedingly strong and tear resistant yet manages to be extremely lightweight, making it ideal for racing.

Taking the Grand Prix 4-season to the next level and beefing up reliability, Continental reinforced the sidewall with DuraSkin, a polyamide fabric that keeps road grit and grime from penetrating to the tube.
