This Trek 2300 Composite, once one of the most technologically advanced bikes of its time, has been remade as a fast and agile flat-bar road bike. The SRAM 2x9 drivetrain has been freshreshed with a brand new chain and cassette, and brand new Continental Ultrasport 700x25c tires have been mounted to the Mavic Aksium Race wheelset. This bike is light and responsive, owing to its clever combination of aluminum and carbon fiber frame tubing, while still having intutitve controls.
